I
suffered from chronic constipation since childhood. As a teenager, I developed
an auto-immune condition of the skin called lichen sclerosis. This condition
developed mainly in the anal area and would swell and it was very painful. I
couldn’t sit and I was afraid to go to the bathroom. Sometimes I couldn’t go
to work because it was very painful. I just wanted to lay in bed, which made me
sad. When it flared up, it brought on tiredness, and I had no energy and was
lethargic.
From
1998-2005, I sought modern medicine treatments. I had tons of tests and even a
biopsy to determine if there was cancer. The medical doctors prescribed
anti-inflammatory drugs and anti-depressants. They also gave me a steroid cream,
