FIBROMYALGIA HAD DESTROYED MY LIFE

Six
months ago I was in real trouble. I was suffering from an extreme case of
Fibromyalgia with all the horrible symptoms that go along with this immune
disorder. I would spend up to three weeks at a time in bed; I hardly had the
energy to walk to the kitchen for a glass of water. My husband helped comb my
hair because it hurt to lift my arms. I was on designer drugs, painkillers,
muscle relaxers and anxiety medication; I was weak and in terrible pain.
I
worried…how would I continue to teach? I love my job as a teacher and feared I
