Origin: Nutgrass Galingale Rhizome is the dried rhizome of Cyperus rotundus L. (Fam. Cyperaceae).
Nature and affinity: It is pungent, slightly bitter slightly sweet in taste and neutral in nature, and is distributed to the Liver, Spleen and the Triple -Jiao Channels.
Radix Ginseng
Origin: It is the dried root of Panax ginseng C.A. Mey, Araliaceae, Wild ones are called wild mountain ginseng, while cultivated ones are called garden ginseng.
Nature and affinity: Wild mountain ginseng are mainly produced in Changbai and other mountains in Jilin Province, Garden ginseng are mainly produced in Jilin, Liaoning and Heilongjiang provinces.
Main Active Ingredient: It is sweet and gently bitter in taste, neutral in nature, its therapeutical action is related to the Channels of the Spleen, Lung and Heart.
Radix Bupleuri
Origin: Chinese Thorowax Root is the dried root of Bupleurum chinese DC. or Bupleurum scorzonerifolium Willd.(Fam. Umbelliferae).
Nature and affinity: It is bitter to the taste, slightly cold in nature, and is distriuted to the Liver and Gall Bladder Channels.
