Radix Scutellariae
Origin: Baical Skullcap Root is the dried root of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi (Fam. Labiatae).
Nature and affinity: It is bitter taste, cold in nature, and is distributed to the Lung, Gall Bladder, Spleen, large Intestine and Small Intestine Channels.
Main Active Ingredient: baicalin (C21H18O11)
Lapis Chloriti
Origin: Whole China. Sichuan (better quality).
Nature and affinity: Sweet, Salty taste and neutral in nature.
Lapis Chloriti: Chlorite Schist is a black mica schist or a carbonate schist of chlorite mica of metamorphic group.
Rhizoma Cyperi
Origin: Nutgrass Galingale Rhizome is the dried rhizome of Cyperus rotundus L. (Fam. Cyperaceae).
Nature and affinity: It is pungent, slightly bitter slightly sweet in taste and neutral in nature, and is distributed to the Liver, Spleen and the Triple -Jiao Channels.
Os Draconis
Origin: Crushed fossilised bones
Nature and affinity: It is sweet and astringent in taste and slightly cold in nature, and is distributed to the Heart and Liver Channels.
Semen Persicae
Origin: Peach Seed is the dried ripe seed of Prunus persica (L.) Batsch or Prunus davidiana (Carr.) Franch. (Fam. Rosaceae).
Nature and affinity: This drug is bitter and sweet in taste and neutral, and is distributed to the Heart, Liver and Large Intestine Channels.
Radix Curcumae
Origin: Turmeric Root is the dried root tuber of Curcuma wenjunjin Y. H. Chen et C. Ling, Curcuma longa L., Curcuma kwangsiensis S. G. Lee et C. F. Liang, or Curcuma phaeocaulis Val. (Fam. Zingiberaceae).
Nature and affinity: It is pungent and bitter in taste and cold in nature, and is distributed to the Liver, Heart and Lung Channels.
